Brooklyn Greenway Advocacy Bike Ride

Community Board 1 has approved the concept plan for the Brooklyn Greenway in Greenpoint and Williamsburg. When built it will be similar to the Greenway along the West Side Highway in Manhattan, a dedicated bike and pedestrian path segregated from the street by a planted median. As a first step, DOT has removed parking from Kent Avenue and is installing a striped bike lane on West Street and Kent Avenue. Join us to ride this first 5.5 mile stretch of the future greenway!
